La Gi (Vietnamese: La Gi) (pronounced:/la-zi/) is a District-level town (thị xã) of Bình Thuận Province Southeast region of Vietnam. Under Republic of Vietnam period, this town was provincial capital of Binh Tuy Prrovince (now is western part of Bình Thuận Province). After Vietnam War, it was the capital of Hàm Tân District. It's established in 2005 with split Hàm Tân District into new La Gi Town and new Hàm Tân District

La Gi is borders with new Hàm Tân District in north and west, Hàm Thuận Nam District in east and South China Sea (East Sea in Vietnamese) in south. It's subdivided into 5 wards: Tân An, Phước Hội, Phước Lộc, Tân Thiện, Bình Tân and 4 communes :Tân Phước, Tân Tiến, Tân Hải, Tân Bình
